A new chapter begins at the Granite Inn with new owners/innkeepers Greg and Kelly English. Greg and Kelly bring a complementary blend of strategic leadership, operational experience, and guest-centered hospitality that equips them to serve as highly capable innkeepers. Their combined national and international backgrounds reflect a consistent commitment to professional excellence, efficient management, and creating environments where guests feel welcomed, valued, and well cared for.

Greg is a seasoned leader with national and international experience in recreation programming, facility operations, and hospitality. His background includes co-editing and authoring respected resources in recreation programming and administration, serving as an adjunct professor, and directing a recreation and fitness facility with responsibility for operations, staffing, budgets, and guest experience. Greg is known for his strategic thinking, creative leadership, and ability to design high-impact experiences that foster connection and engagement. His vision-oriented approach ensures that every operational and guest-facing detail contributes to a cohesive, elevated standard of hospitality.

Kelly brings national and international experience in hospitality, catering, event management, and food service operations. Her background includes hosting sports teams and coaches in international settings, managing the complex logistics, cultural expectations, and service precision required for both athletic and special group travelers. She has also coordinated a variety of large-scale events that demand streamlined systems, operational accuracy, and exceptional guest care. Having served as a Women’s Health Care Coordinator, Kelly brings the same meticulous planning, attentiveness, and organizational expertise to guiding women through their care journeys, coordinating personalized care plans from diagnostics to diagnosis. A natural nurturer with strong analytical insight, Kelly excels at creating seamless, attentive, and personalized experiences across diverse contexts, whether in hospitality or healthcare.

Together, Greg and Kelly work towards “creating shared experiences through curated hospitality.”

Greg and Kelly are the proud parents of two sons, two daughters-in-law, and three granddaughters.
